Whilst a download progresses, it seems impossible to use the Launch profile in new browser feature of about:profiles

Is this expected?

Not a show-stopper, just an oddity. The workaround is simple enough: pause.

Waterfox 56.2.3 on FreeBSD-CURRENT.

Since mozilla is porting any dialog from xul to html you have to deal wit NO solution. Moreover about pages are going to be locked by csp.
