Plain text list of extensions for quantum

Is there a plain text list of extensions/addons for quantum anywhere? I've just spent maybe 1/2 hour poking around https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/ and can't make much sense of it. I feel like I'm looking for a needle in the super bowl. If I search for an extension, the drop down vanishes when an item is clicked only to find out it's incompatible with quantum. I am pretty steamed right now. Not only that UI sucks but even with ad blockers it seems the entire web is going down a clickbait s'hole of stupidity and deadends. It's a bit like riding on a Moebius strip to hell. Thanks for listening.
If it says it is compatible with Firefox 57+ then it is compatible. Quantum refers to 57.0 and later.
You appear to be using Firefox 52.0, perhaps 52.9.0esr based on the useragent you used to post with. The legacy Extensions will soon be disabled on AMO in early October now that the old legacy Firefox 52 ESR is EOL. https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2018/08/21/timeline-for-disabling-legacy-firefox-add-ons/ Yes, I understand all that. What I would like is a text list of all the extensions available for 57.0. All on one page something like this: https://addons.palemoon.org/extensions/ I have not been able to find that anywhere in the current UI and a SP search has been fruitless. I won't know if I will continue with FF until I can see what my options are. I currently have 52 ESR pinned on old stable. Just checked out 57 on a live disk and it's kind of a trainwreck. If I can't "fix" it, I'll be outta here. That would be a sad day . . . (sheds a tear)
a list for current quantum
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... ppver=62.0 notice the parameter please! you have to try out them for yourself as long some will give you a recommendation. OK, some progress. That's basically a plain text list with a few icons. But no where on the page itself does it say those addons are for quantum (62.0) and "text" is an irrelevant selector. How would I be able to browse ALL the extensions available for quantum not limited by any word and sorted alphabetically? IOW the available sort options are incomplete.
guess who can read has advantage
eg https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... plaintext/
leads to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... /versions/ to read that page will illuminate you. That's not the illumination I requested. I would like to see an alphabetical list of ALL ADDONS AVAILABLE FOR QUANTUM. If that does not exist, is there an alphabetical list of all addons regardless of version? It would be ridiculously inefficient to have to open the ones I might be interested in to check but if the list is complete I'd deal with it.
to repeat - you have eyes to see, now read: scroll down to bottom, click "View classic desktop site" go to top again ->
click on "More" and sort on "name". i think you can get along now alone.
Not sure if due to English/German translation but you misunderstood. earther was not asking for extensions related to "plain text" but for a list of extensions that was compatible with Firefox 57.0+ and if possible have that list of extensions be in a simple plain text list. This gives me a search result of extensions listed as compatible with Firefox 62.0 https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search/?q=&appver=62.0 That is one of the most convoluted UIs I have ever had to deal with.
ah, ok James, i see what you mean. i thought he/she is searching for an extension for "plain text" while copy&paste for quantum, but probably he meant a sorted list of all quantum extensions. then ofc your link is better but it dont include a result. so he/she need to fill out the search form to be specific, firefox wont list that - mandatory!
nevertheless the new UI dont has any sorting like the old has. missing sort for name. its recommended to switch the ui as descriven then to sort:
that would lead to a lot of pages:
(828 pages for now) he/she has to be specific otherwise it results like reading a telephone book. done and out. @James . . . thank you for clarifying my original question. The list you linked to will at least narrow it down to that specific version.
@James . . . thank you for clarifying my original question. The list you linked to will at least narrow it down to that specific version. However sorting by name still does not produce an alphabetical list.
![]() If you can wait a few weeks before doing your research on quantum extensions, in early october non-quantum extensions are expected to disappear which should make the list easier to see. https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2018/08 ... x-add-ons/
if you were followed my instructions you should have - problem exists in front of desktop?
