[SOLVED] Google-search bug

I first noticed this problem with SeaMonkey 2.38.
Initial Google search works fine; later searches stall--nothing happens. Private data must be cleared for Google search to work again. Tested SeaMonkey 2.38 with DuckDuckGo search; no problems. Tested D+ browser with Google search; no problems. Running Windows XP SP3 with all Microsoft updates. Thanks. Last edited by MagnumOpus on November 3rd, 2015, 12:43 am, edited 2 times in total.
Specifically what private data? I was referring to this:
Tools ==> Clear Private Data Specifically beyond that, I don't know. > Specifically beyond that, I don't know.
But you do. Particular items are selected for clearing. So which do you have selected? (I believe there was a thread last week in the FF forums... ?) Fire 750, bring back 250.

Oops, completely overlooked that! ![]() I checked all available boxes, then cleared data. Thanks for the FF link; that's exactly what I was experiencing. But now it's working OK, so apparently it was a Google bug.
