Well I spent some time in Bugzilla tracking all the dependencies. This is very big and will affect also around 800+ addons. Stay tuned folks.
There are still no Mac builds of comm-central and comm-aurora for quite some time now. Somebody know whats the issue? Would like to test if #1199957 is fixed now. But with no build and can't test...
see https://api.pub.build.mozilla.org/treestatus/ all the links are Broken , people may need too use this link to get Thunderbird http://ftp-origin-scl3.mozilla.org/ http://ftp-origin-scl3.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/
That was a very temporary situation because mozilla moved the storage to s3
thanlks for the update, i told them in the firefox nightly thread Quality Mozilla work again, buildbots been busted for 10+ days now, no one really cares ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So much for "Thunderbird is not abandoned"
What, you think everyone involved just sits on their hands just to frustrate you? You don't seem to have a clue.
No, just that noone paid is left to do The Job (TM) and therefore everything takes ages.
You must not have been around in the old days. There were indeed times when we had paid staff and things, like trunk, were broken for extended periods of time. (and the more I think about it, many times every year) Now breakage is worse mainly because changes are are coming more frequently - includining in twos, and threes (the current situation) - as mozilla increases their pace of rearchitecting/deprecating/etc not just backend code, but their entire build system. Finally a new Earlybird build, again.
Autoupdate worked (from the build of 20th to 28th). And the normal link works: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/ ... mm-aurora/ The nightly "N" build for trunk seems to have just started. Hopefully also that completes ok. https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=comm-central Hmm, merges were done last Thursday (10/29) already, not as usual on Monday = yesterday.
No clue why that was changed... ![]() Because they are releasing a one year anniversary version of Firefox Developer Edition today.
