You've created a very nice add-on here, for which, thank you

Thanks for the reply. It's selected text I'm thinking of. Personally, I have no need of full page translation. thanks for S3GT. Would be nice to have option to use "on the fly translation" with a modifier: if I select text with Ctrl or Alt or shift the S3GT window will appear, but if I select text without the dedicated modifier (normally to copy the text or to transmit it to the search box), then the S3GT will not react.
Thanks! dany
yes, I was just thinking about it version 2.18 await approval
https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/s3google-translator/versions/ changes: added: multi-language panel in google-widget for "translate full page" added: select text with Alt-key for (automatic) "on the fly translation" added: button "Copy text to Clipboard" First off, thank you for this add-on! Wonderful and useful for me, as I use it to help me understand Kanji I don't understand when reading Japanese.
I was wondering about a couple possible features for it, which may be considered useless by some, but still... -Adding the "Read Phonetically" text, for people that want to see the pronunciation of the words in question -Having the multiple translations appear, as the translator currently only shows the first translation, which is not always the one you need. (Using GTranslate does require basic understanding of some languages to be useful, such as with Japanese, and often having all the translations is supplies is needed to really know what you are reading; otherwise, the translation can easily be wrong due to how the translator system works) > -Having the multiple translations appear
for translate selection of text? For example:
If I want to translate "apple" into Japanese, your add-on will only translate it as "アップル" (a transliteration of "apple", but not the Japanese word at all) rather than the correct "林檎", which appears as the second translation on Google Translate. It would be nice if the translator would list each of the translations Google Translate provides. The area used by the translator easily has enough space to do so. It would be fine if it were an optional setting as well. version 3.01 await approval
https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/s3google-translator/versions/ changes: added: New Feature: Language learning Now you can not only translate, but also learn the selected language! added:Settings:Enable translate on the fly when pressed key: Ctrl or Alt or Alt+Shift changed: new algorithm and new appearance to display the result for "translate on the fly" win 7
ff 28 S3.Google Translator 3.01 moz pref plugin.state.flash = 1 breaks this plugin i'm curious as to why this is? plugin.state.flash = 0 --> never activate
plugin.state.flash = 1 --> ask to activate plugin.state.flash = 2 --> always activate for translate a full page must be installed and enabled Flash player -- this required for the Google widget there seems to be a conflict with this ext. and Menu Wizard - when both are enabled, the Esc key fails to function
please see thread starting here... viewtopic.php?p=13747583#p13747583 yes, this ESC is set to close the translation panel
