I’m unclear if the latest FF versions prevent sites from tracking you while the browser is still open from site to site.

In other words, if I’m on this site, and I have several other tabs open from other sites, can any of the sites I have open have a way of knowing that I’m on this site or any of the other sites that are currently open?

And on top of that, CCleaner always shows a lot of sites that there are tracking cookies after I close FF even though I have FF set to delete cookies with the exception of DuckDuckGo and one other site.

BTW, I disabled FF in CCleaner to prevent breaking FF.

And if tracking cookies are deleted after the browser is closed, is that too late? Will whatever site that is tracking you already have the info?
