Pocket Priv Policy? Or will iit/does it work like FF sync

I would love to use something like Pocket but I am not a fan of having my information kept "in the cloud". I am willing to make an exception if it is end-to-end encrupted and stated that the stored material is not accessible by anyone except the user. The thing is, its not clear to me if Pcoket operates like that now, or if, since it was bought by Moz, will it implement something like FF sync or the pocket ver of protonmail (something like that).

Id love to learn more if anyone out there has more info on this.

Whoever permitted Pocket to be integrated into Firefox needs a damned good kicking in my opinion. Plus they have to be monetising the information some how that's just a fact wouldn't trust them with a ten foot barge pole. As I say my opinion
