Basically the idea behind Phoenix is that it will be a browser only process. Any other clients such as mail, IRC, etc will probably have some sort of integration, but they will be totally separate processess, which is different from how Mozilla works.

I think it's good to separate the email client and Phoenix. Phoenix should be a browser only. Of course it would be nice if there was a useful email client supplied. But I think it's more important to focus on Phoenix as a browser.

btw: you're doing a great job, I'm waiting for Phoenix 0.5 ;)

I hope there will be a mail client, because I like the one that comes with Mozilla, but now that I;m using Phoenix( it's faster on my slow computer) loading Moz-mail uses a lot of memory( just as much as Mozilla uses + memory used by Phoenix... I only have 64MB)

Keep phoenix as a browser only... If you need an email or IRC all in one then you can always install mozilla...

The point of Minotaur (and its phoenixified version Thunderbird) is that it's going to be a stand-alone solution, so don't worry.

Exactly... I don't want to have to start Mozilla... it's OK if it's going to be a stand-alone app( even better!!). Do you have any ideea when the first version will be available?
