Image mixed with text on Kijiji

Hi,
I think this is a bug. When I click on 'open link in new tab' while scrolling through Kijiji's items for sale. I get an image of the item with it's description superimposed on it. They should be separate, and used to be until recently. Firefox shows them as they should be. I have a screen shot illustrating what I mean, but don't know how to add it to my post. ...... john
SeaMonkey 2.49.4 is "a little bit" outdated right now because it is based on old Gecko 52.x engine (like Firefox 52). It is known to have bugs (e.g. problems with displaying pages properly) and Mozilla repaired this in "next" version which is Firefox 56. All SeaMonkey users are waiting for next release. I hope it'll be 2.53 (originally with Gecko 56.x but right now it's based on newer Gecko 60.x engine) because 2.57 needs a lot of work. So far there is available unofficial 2.53: http://www.wg9s.com/comm-253/ Some says it's pretty stable but remember it's updated every few days (because of new bug fixes). If you want to test it you'll better make backup of your old profile(-s) because you can't just revert to old SM version (some says). Hi TPR75,
Thanks for letting me know this. That explains a lot. I'm running Firefox 66.0.3 and it shows none of these display issues. So ..... this is not a big problem; I'll just wait for the new release of SeaMonkey. Thanks again. ..... john General comment:
Sometimes problems with stuff overlapping can be caused by zooming to something other than the default text size. You can return to default text size by pressing Ctrl+0 (Ctrl + Zero). Doug Wilson, "The Makai Guy"

Good, thought, however it didn't help. I tried a few more text sizes and they all did the same thing. Another thing I noticed is that the 'show more' link, which usually provides more of the text description, brings up the items images. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.19) Gecko/20110420 SeaMonkey/2.0.14 Pinball CopyURL+ FetchTextURL FlashGot NoScript latest 32 bit version 2.49.5 from http://www.wg9s.com/comm-esr still displays the same wrong layout.
https://www.kijiji.ca text over picture and wrong size thumbnails next to the main pictures. the releases from roytam1 (v 28.6.0) and feodor2 (v 28.5.2) do not have this issue. tested on xp sp3 , new profiles. I don't know that there is any expectation that 2.49 will work correctly there.
(And once 2.49.5 is released, that's it [for 2.49] - unfortunately.) Fire 750, bring back 250.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.19) Gecko/20110420 SeaMonkey/2.0.14 Pinball CopyURL+ FetchTextURL FlashGot NoScript Hi all,
I'm still having this issue. The other problem, which I have only recently realized, is that the entire text in the add may not be superimposed on the image. Opening the add will show more images but no more text than I can see on the image. I can tell this because the title link often contains more text than is on the image, but there seems to be no way of seeing all the text. Any other thoughts? Thanks, ...... john P.S. I'm now using Windows 10, so it doesn't seem to be OS related issue. And it was noted that 2.49 was not working correctly there.
Have you tried 2.53? Fire 750, bring back 250.
