I don't know what's going on with Mozilla but I see focus stealing problems a lot. In the nightly 2002121408 it back again :(. Check bug 134317.

this bug was also fixed. the fix for 110718 - CTRL-T, CTRL-N, and some menus / apps don't work / respond when current tab / page is loading
caused this regression. and i was so happy that bug got fixed - now the fix was backed out and 110718 is broken again :(
new nightlies should work again.

If I read correctly, the ctrl-t bug which caused the focus problems also caused some of the numbers that they are measuring on tinderbox to increase. So that patch had 2 problems with it. I think it was best that it was backed out, even though I get annoyed with pressing ctrl-t and having nothing happen.
