hi I understand Firefox is no longer updating its android versions?
I have previously synched my W10 laptop with phones and older Samsung tablets. All worked well.
Increasingly on my older tablets, I get messages to tell me websites are no longer supported by my firefox and suggest I change to Chrome etc!
I need to use various machines and the synching is v impt to me.

What are my options please
Hoping to hear - cheers

Some time ago Firefox for Android changed from the 68 ESR version (Fennec) to 80+ versions (Fenix).
What Android version is running on those devices ?

The new Firefox for Android supports a wide range of devices from Android 5.0+ and above.

With Android 4.4 you can't update to recent Firefox versions and you will have to stay with the last Firefox 68 release.

after the recent update, i have found that a lot of websites that are not optimised for mobile devices, are now rendering properly. they have done a good job

Just noticed this thread.
I run Firefox 68 on an Android 4.4 phone. It syncs fine with Fx elsewhere. (And runs addons!)

You can't load 68 from playstore any more, though, so you'll have to sideload it - Mozilla still publish the APKs.

If your tablet is very old it might not run Fx 68.
