I would like to install Sunbird on my Sun Java System Web Server 6.1 on Sun SPARC Solaris 9 and create and access various Sunbird calendars via Firefox and IE. I would like to allow others (who have write access on the server) via WebDAV to modify existing *.ics [??] files as necessary.

Is this doable on SPARC Solaris 9, Sun Java System Web Server 6.1 and Firefox 1.0.4, Mozilla 1.7.8 and IE 6.x???

Any documentation as to how to install, configure multiple calendars within Sunbird and how to modify/puiblish "ics" (event/task) files would help considerably...

Thanks

Jerry

Sunbird is a client program.

To do what you want, you need a server-based calendar. For an example of a server-based calendar, look at www.icalx.com. Use the feedback link there to contact the owner and find out how it is done.

I think it uses PHP iCalendar to convert .ics files into web pages.
