I use Calendar with FF and Sunbird. And I have several calendars (Work, Family, Travel). My Work calendar is very large, which causes problems with adding new events (as discussed elsewhere). So I have a new calendar (entitled Work2005).

Does anyone know how to make it my dafulat calendar? Ie when I double click to make a new event, it automatically selects Work2005 rather than Work. I tried naively changing teh order of the entries in the CalendarManager.rdf file - but to no avail.

Thanks for any suggestions.

take a look at your profile folder. edit CalendarManager.rdf (but be careful) and you'll find something like this:

<RDF:Seq RDF:about="urn:calendarcontainer">
<RDF:li RDF:resource="urn:calendarcontainer:calendar0"/>
<RDF:li RDF:resource="urn:calendarcontainer:calendar1"/>
<RDF:li RDF:resource="urn:calendarcontainer:calendar2"/>
...
</RDF:Seq>

find the calendar number for your "Work2005"-file and make it the fist calendar in that list above. i think this should do the trick.
