Under Arch Linux 0.7, official 0.2 xft-gtk2 release:
tmp/sunbird-0.2-i686-linux-gtk2+xft.tar.gz_FILES/sunbird/run-mozilla.sh: line 131: 3491 Segmentation fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"}
System configure:
gnome 2.9.90
kernel 2.6.9
gtk 2.6.1

You can try the non-xft build (gtk1)

I tried it and it works. But why are there problems with the xft-build? What exactly is the difference?

Yes, I can run gtk1 build, but anyway why I have to run gtk1?
Are there more than two experiecing the same problem, or I could try to compile it under my own environment to see if that is caused by gcc or glibc version (very hard to compile it)?.
I am using gcc 3.4.3 and glibc 2.3.4.

afaik the freetype library changed, and that is what is causeing the problems.
But I can't test to know for sure, because I use gnome2.8

Where can I get 0.2 source tarball, thanks.
BTW, freetype is not a part of gnome, so gnome 2.8 in not the matter, but freetype could be the real root, haha.
