Yes, that's correct. It seems that test builds have not been stable enough to put up.

For some information about getting the source, see this. Links to LXR (the web interface to CVS) and Bonsai (for tracking changes) are in the side panel there.

If they don't have stable builds yet, it's going to be some time yet.

Hey, they do say that for "Duke Nukem Forever", too. This game holds the title "vaporware" for over 6 years now. Hope this doesn't happen to Sunbird as well... :mrgreen:
