This article refers to Firefox but see if it is helpful to you for SeaMonkey -- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enable-drm

I tried this, but there is no Widevine Content Decryption Module. ?

Code: Select all
Disable the Google Widevine CDM without uninstalling

Disabling Google Widevine from the Add-ons Manager prevents it from running on your computer and prevents future updates from downloading. To disable this CDM plugin:

Click the menu button Fx57menu and choose Fx57Addons-icon Add-ons. The Add-ons Manager tab will open.
In the Add-ons Manager tab, select the Plugins panel.
Select Never Activate on the menu next to Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc.

digital restriction management and EME is not really supported in SeaMonkey. I doubt it will ever work because the content providers restrict use to a few selected browsers they can or think they can control. If it doesn't work with the deprecated Silverlight plugin you can probably give up for now.
