Just upgraded installation from 1.18 to 2.0
In browser, when I go tools -> search the web it brings up Google.co.uk, which is what I want. However, when I type a search term into the address bar and click the search button on the right it searches using google.com. which is not what I want. How can I get this feature to search with google.co.uk? Cheers Mark

This seems to be an issue with the search plugin. Go to your SeaMonkey installation directory and look in the searchplugins directory within that. Find google.src and open it in text editor (eg Notepad). Change all references of 'google.com' to 'google.co.uk' and restart SeaMonkey. That should do the job, hopefully.

Thanks, Raj, for the suggestion, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work

Make sure you are using the correct installation directory - c:\program files\seamonkey, not c:\program files\mozilla.org\seamonkey

Go to about:config
Change browser.search.defaulturl from http://www.google.com/search?q= to http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=

That worked, thank you very much!
In the first instance I was, indeed, looking in the wrong installation directory. Cheers Mark
