Hi,

If getting a mail with pdf attachments, I can't open them. I have to save them first to disk. That file can be opened from disk.
A .doc(x) will be opened instantly after clicking on it. This worked also for pdf's (with foxit) but not anymore. Did I do something wrong?
What to do to open those attachments directly again?

Regards

Rob

For Windows, Tools > Preferences > General and scroll down to Files & Attachments. Find Portable Document Format (PDF) and select your program of choice to view the attachment. You can view it directly in Thunderbird or use an external reader like Acrobat or Foxit.

iOS and Linux use different paths to get to the Preferences or Options menu but the process is the same.

Thanks,
That was easy to do, but finding this Preference was more difficult. I overlooked it several times.
