Hello,

Since we change our emails to 365 plataform, sending emails to some domains return this error message:
Your message contains invalid characters (single-line characters) that the email servers in "domain" do not support.

The solution I found was send as plain text, but I need a definitive solution.

Thank you.

Try configuring Thunderbird to send/receive using Unicode in the advanced font settings in tools -> options.

Are you sure its the character encoding and not proprietary HTML from webmail (not Thunderbird) or due to copying and pasting something from Word into the compose message window?

Any pattern in what domains return this error? For example are they all from web hosts rather than businesses or major free email providers?

Hi,

Changing send/receive to unicode resolved this issue.
Thank you.
