I have several IMAP accounts that I just realized ... I went into the local directory structure to look at something else, and I've noticed - under one account - sent-1 trash-1 and one or two others.
I delete the sent-1, reload T/B and it just re-creates them.

They are NOT on the server.

Any help would be appreciated, as I'm baffled (as usual).

No, it was posted to Thunderbird General.

Files with the -1 suffix suggest that failed attempts were made to add an account. Unless you have space issues on the hard drive or are seeing some other problem, I would leave those files there to be sure you don't delete something you later find you need.

That file naming suggests that there were at least two attempts to add that particular account to Thunderbird and to distinguish the files of the two "duplicate" accounts, the -1 was added as the second was created. It has no impact on the use of that account.
