Since I have upgraded to release 68.3.1 the order in which accounts are displayed has stopped behaving correctly.

mail.accountmanager.accounts contains "account8,account6,account1" but the accounts are displayed in the order of account6,account1,account8.

Account8 is a Feeds account, and no matter how I configure the order, the Feeds always appear last.

Perhaps you are using a outdated version of the manually sort folders add-on. What version of Thunderbird did you upgrade from?

I know the current version of that add-on works fine with mail accounts but have no experience with it sorting a news account.

I am using the latest version of the add-on. I can see that it is working by looking at the contents of the mail.accountmanager.accounts key with the config editor. I always upgrade Thunderbird whenever there is an update, but I have no way of knowing what version I had prior to 68.3.1

The problem is related to the news accounts. I can move other accounts up and down without any problem. It would appear that Thunderbird is ignoring the account order for Blogs and News Feeds
