thread/user block

User Help for Mozilla Thunderbird

Hi there,

I have thunderbird set up on my laptop. Generally works great.

However I must have pressed some kind of thread/user block or something on my laptop as although Im receiving emails fine - one particular user emails doesn't show on my pc (none of the threads, including new messages).

However, when I check my phone (email) - the users email displays fine. So they are being received.

Any advice welcomed!

Thunderbird doesn't offer any "blocking" function but have you checked the Junk folder to see if messages from that user are being identified as Junk by TB?
How is the account set up in Thunderbird, as POP or IMAP? Find out using menu path Tools->Account Settings->Server Settings->Server Type at the top right of the dialogue.

Messages dont go to Junk.
The account is IMAP. Does that help!?

Also, when i receive a message from them, in the top left corner where it says inbox, it shows a "1" and is in bold. But no actual message shows.
