hi,

yesterday I was getting the following error that prevented thunderbird from starting:
Error: Can't create calendar for
I don't have the rest of the error anymore.

After trying to restart many times and googling the problem in the meanwhile, thunderbird now starts without errors but also without showing any information of my profile, like if it were using a new fresh profile.
The profile still there and i can even select it, but Thunderbird still start as if it were a new fresh profile.

My guess is that after trying many times to start it with errors, it reset itself in this default mode. How can bring back my actual profile?

thanks

thanks!

I used an old pref.js and now it seems to work.

The same thing happened again, without apparent reason: the profile suddenly disappeared, though it is on the hard drive.
I tried to follow this tutorial:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Recovering_a_ ... isappeared
and also to use the import/export tool to import single email folders, but without success.

Is there a way to copy manually what I need from the old profile to a new one?
