Hello.
Is there some other faster way to open the About Mozilla Firefox window, in order to update the browser?
So far, if If I want to manually update it, I have to click the menu, then click the help option and then the About Firefox, which is a bit cumbersome.
I checked the about: pages but didnt find a page which opens the update window. And I didnt find a keyboard hotkey either. I used to have a custom toolbar button which opened the update window, but it doesnt work anymore post-Quantum and I didnt find a replacement in the AMO.
so, any idea how I could simplify the manual update process? either by opening the update window faster, or using a command line setting when starting the browser, or an addon, a hotkey, something.

Well, you've chosen to suppress the Menu bar so you've added one click to get that open.
You could press the Alt+H key to go directly to the Help menu, then press the A to go to "About Firefox".

 Bookmark about:preferences, or make it an addition to your home page, load the bookmark , scroll down to the Updates section and click the "Check for updates" button.

That window is this chrome URI:
chrome://browser/content/aboutDialog.xul

I use it in the Nightly build to quickly update to the next version.
In case of issues then refresh the page (F5).

If bookmarking that for updating, I'd recommend Shift-clicking it to avoid resizing your current window to the size normally used by the update dialog.
