Since reinstalling Windows 10 Home 64-bit when selecting any option in any of the 8 the choices to change pops up with numerous x's and it is completely frozen. I can't even get out of that option. My example was choosing the Security option and then clicking on Saved Logins. The menu of choices pops up as mentioned above and is frozen. I can't make any changes and the only way to get is to close the Options menu. I can't view my passwords. This happens when I try to make choices on any of the 8 menu options. Anyone know what this proble is?

Have you tried starting Firefox in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
If no improvement using Safe Mode, do you have the same problem if you create a new profile and test it with no extensions or non-default themes installed?

As a matter of a fact I did try safe mode and all was good. Do you think it is some add-on or theme I am using that now causes a problem?

When things work properly in Safe Mode but not in Standard Mode it often indicates that an installed extension is causing problems. Try disabling all extensions but one and then close and restart the program. (Disable them by using menu path Tools->Addons->Extensions->click on "Disable" for every extension but one.) See if the problem is present. If not, enable an additional extension and close and restart the application. Repeat this procedure until the problem reappears. The last enabled extension will be the cause of the problem.

Great suggestion! I did as you suggested and I found the one that caused the problem. However I now have a different look. I liked the old interface but I am fine with the new setup. Thanks.

You're welcome. Would you share which extension or theme was causing the issue?

I'm sorry to say I now forget which one it was as I deleted it.

OK, not a problem.
