I have the top bars (address, bookmarks etc.) at the bottom of the screen. If I remember right I had to install an extension to do that, possibly Bottom UI. But now that I search for something the suggestions still appear below the search bar so that I can't see it. Is there a way to fix this, to get the suggestions to appear above the bar?

You might email the developer of Bottom UI for a solution.
Logic, in spite of the aesthetics of losing the lower position might be to remove Bottom UI.

My Windows toolbar is at the top, that's why the browser bars need to be at the bottom. It's more natural to have them that way, for I use the browser tabs and bookmarks constantly but the windows bar only every now and then. Of course, I know I could switch them, but obviously, that's the last resort for me.

But yeah I could email them.
