I don't in which forum I should post this entry, so I´ll start in this one.

Three or four years ago, Mozilla was part of a project to create an identity online. Basically you created a profile and based on it, you would login automatically in many sites, in theory providing only a certain amount of personal information as you have configured in your online identity.

I remember having created a profile and then not using it.

Does someone remember how did this work and where did you have to login?

Thanks in advance for any help

Sounds like you are referring to Mozilla Persona.

On November 30th, 2016, Mozilla shut down the services. and related domains will soon be taken offline.
