I downloaded a tool called Routercheck today to check the router I received from my ISP for any vulnerabilities. http://www.routercheck.com/routercheck-for-windows/
The tool is easy as pie to run and didn't cause any conflicts or performance issues in Windows 8.1 which is what I'm running. I scanned the installation file for viruses using Malwarebytyes before running it and it's clean as a whistle.
Here's a screenshot of the router check result: https://i.imgsafe.org/d9cc911192.png
I changed the admin password which is why it says that it couldn't login to the router in the image.
