Maybe this should be a new topic, but since there are so many Composer topics already...

How long before the standalone composer equals the version that's part of the Mozilla Suite? Seems strange to have a polished product you can actually work with knocked down to pre-alpha state. I'm obviously not a developer but I sure would love to have a decent, working standalone composer to build and edit my sites. Progress seems slow at best. Anyone have an answer?

PS: I use Linux...ONLY Linux. So I'm talking about a standalone composer for...you guessed it...Linux.

You could try PMing Glazman...
BTW, you should have put this in another thread because the Composer Installer mentioned in this thread is Windows......ONLY WINDOWS!!!
However, if anyone would like to make a Linux Edition, I could provide you with all the modified jar files, splash screens, icons, ect...........

Creat a new Mozilla Profile for it...
Investigating Corruption Claims...

What profile does it share? MozillaSuite?
Also does the profile manager launch on start
up so a new profile can be made with out hosing
the one it wants to share?

It uses a Mozilla Suite profile...
Simply add "-ProfileManager" to use the profile manager...
Or at least this works in Mozilla, I haven't tested it in Composer...
BTW, Composer is based of Mozilla 1.5a ...

Is there a version without the installer?
Im making a new Composer profile for it,
I put a copy of my MozillaSuite profile into it
so it would have all the components it needs.
Thanks for your help. :p

I plan to make a bit of documentation for it when I get the time...
