Didn't know which forum to post in. Move if needed.

Who creates the listings for the English spell check dictionary for the non-OS X platforms? I've noticed a lot of missing words.

Moving to Miscellaneous Support.

In the dictionary for which program? All of them are third party add-ons, not from Mozilla, and none is intended to include every word in the English language.

Er, Dan... Miscellaneous Support was locked a long time ago. I'll move this to Moz Tech for the time being.

If Fx is supposed to mean Firefox (which is usually abbreviated FF), see this link --

The dictionary is here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3497

Not to nitpick, but unless there was a change since 1.5, Fx is correct
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/releases/1.5.html

Mozilla has listed the Fx as the abbreviation for a long time. Both FX and the less common FF is acceptable. Before support.mozilla.com existed there was support.mozilla.org where they had in the FAQ the spelling of Firefox and the acceptable abbreviation being FX or Fx.
