Very informative.

Which version of Thunderbird and Lightning please.

Lightning 2.6b1 appears to be working just fine for the way I use it in Thunderbird 24.0b1.

Windows Notebook - AMD A8 7410 2.2GHz | 6.0GB RAM | AMD Radeon R5

In trunk builds (building both SeaMonkey and Lightning) the binary component in Lightning doesn't get registered.

libical.manifest contains:
Code: Select all
binary-component calbasecomps.dll
interfaces .xpt
But it should say:
Code: Select all
binary-component calbasecomps.dll
interfaces caldatetime_libical.xpt

Hmm icaljs.manifest is also broken in the same way.

There have always been ghosts in the machine... random segments of code that have grouped together to form unexpected protocols. Unanticipated, these free radicals engender questions of free will, creativity, and even the nature of what we might call the soul...
