Hi,

I am going to ask a stupid question in hopes that maybe it is not so stupid. when an email comes in and has a PDF attachment, is there a way to save the attachment/move only the attachment to a folder under Thunderbird. sometimes the email is threaded and it is a long thread and all I need is the attachment to save in the folder.

I'm not sure I understand the question. Do you mean you want to save JUST the attachment to a Thunderbird folder? If that is the intention, it is not possible. Attachments are stored by Thunderbird as part of the message data. They can be detached and saved to the hard drive, outside of Thunderbird, but not stored alone in Thunderbird.
