In Windows 10 one can couple an app to start e-mail. There are two choices: Google Chrome an one from the Microsoft store. Thunderbird is not in the MS store and I don't want Google Chrome. In the past Thunderbird was one of the choices. Microsoft Support referred me to Mozilla. In my opinion that is not correct. The coupling is within Windows, but they persisted. So, how can I couple Thunderbird?

If you have installed Thunderbird on your Win 10 computer it should show up in the list of programs which can be made the default email app. See this article for guidance on accessing that functionality -- ... 10-mailto/
