I want to sideline emails into a junk email address or delete permeability. Googe search says simply right click on an email. There is no option for filtering.

Simply right click on email and choose create filter. NO WAY.

I don't remember the context menu when you right click on a message ever support creating a filter. Perhaps it was a removed a long time ago. If you set up your accounts junk mail controls to automatically move a junk message to a junk folder or delete it you could just select a message and press 'J". You could also right click on the message and chose "Junk".

You can create a message filter for new mail that either deletes or moves all messages using a filter with "To" "contains" "the email address". You'd set "action" to either "delete" or "Move Message To" "folder name" . That would seem a safer solution for what you want to do. You want to use "contains" rather than "is" in case the sender uses "plus addressing".

That Google article may have been mistaken or misinterpreted. The "Create filter from" context menu options appears when one is viewing the contents of the message in question and right clicks on the email address of the sender.
