Version 45.5.1 vs 45.8.0

I have now upgraded to version 45.8.0 several times. When I do, I install my downloaded version of 45.5.1 on which I have no problems. However, as soon as I upgrade to 45.8.0, I start having problems, where when opening the program, the left (folder) pane comes up blank, void of my email folders, junk, trash, sent etc. folders. While the top menu does display, opening the menu options is very slow. After closing and re-opening a number of times with the same result, I have to uninstall it and re-install version 45.5.1, on which I have no problems at all. At this point, I am ignoring the message to upgrade, knowing the problem will reappear.

Try running in safe mode (help -> restart with add-ons disabled) to see if the problem is an incompatible add-on.
