Well I guess it's offical now, so let the jokes about the Phoenix rising from it's pyre as Firebird begin. Now we just have to get some new builds with updated names (or perhaps any new builds at all).

I wonder how many dupe threads such as this one we're going to see...

Anyone know if the lack of phoenix specific fixes in the builds as of late have been held back waiting for the name change or something?

Nightlies are released when:
1. Someone has the time to build them
2. They can build without any problem

And they couldn't build until sometime this morning. Hopefully, nightly builds will come back later today.

I like "Firebird" name, but there are exists another project named with Firebird.
Firebird is a SQL Database Server (very good sql server).

Is not a problem ?

Can someone answer this?

It'll probably be changed sometime in the future, but I guess the few next nightlies will still be in /pub/phoenix/.

My suggestion would be to make "firebird" a symbolic link from "phoenix" so that either URL will work for awhile. After a month or 2 the ph could be discontinued.
