Confirmed, pressing enter on URL bar is totally broken with latest Nightly, I have to post on Edge atm while I try to find a build that isn't so utterly broken.

I did a pave-over re-install of today's Nightly and restarted and things started working again....

EDIT: before doing that I did flip pref: xpinstall.signatures.required to 'false' for now...

The suggested option 'Allow Nightly to install and run studies' will not stay checked for me...

Hmm. FWIW checked that option with 67b16 and after a couple of restarts Extensions came back after a bit of a wait.

Won't let me install an older version - what was that pref to override that idiocy ?

That's for addons I think. I want to install yesterday's Nightly.. won't let me, wants to create a new profile.

Aah yes, sorry, @FWIW that's been reset to false.

A fix is being installed on supported versions of Firefox if one enables studies:

https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2019/05 ... n-firefox/

Works for me in Nightly. Note: may take a bit of time for the "study" (fix) to be installed, the above blog mentioning up to 6 hours. (It took about an hour in my testing Nightly_New profile.)

OK, I just added a pref : testing.normandy-enrollment-events-test-1 as number '1'
Now the options setting stuck and on restart my addons are back, even with default setting of 'true' the xpi install sig required.

Now, all I have figure out is why my search engines are all missing with exception of Amazon

EDIT: once I added the pref noted, 'about:studies' now show the 2 hot-fixes for addon issue. Just FYI mostly - still puzzled about the search engines.

EDIT: OK, renamed search.json.mozlz4 to .old with Nightly closed on restart created a new file and search engines are back.

Reverted back to last release. Extensions still broken. themes broken. ads and pop-ups and pop-overs all over. ARGH!

Default search engines are now WebExtensions. Perhaps they are affected by the armagadd-on-2.0. Just a guess.
