The win32 build box always seems to be going down. I think it needs some more love and attention :)

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; it is that evil Linux penguin.

You mean, that cute little penguin putting up a good fight against the evil giant in Redmond. ;)

If you have MSVC6 and can follow instructions (I think you can handle the 2nd part), you can build the *LATEST* Mozilla Firebird with scripts (actually, mere batch files) I have written. I'm only posting these again because I think that people will benefit from them. They take a lot of the work out of grabbing and compiling Firebird.

The scripts are at http://maple.kurly.net/firebird-build.zip

At present, they support only Firebird. They could likely be extended to Thunderbird pretty easily.

If I have VC6....

Wow...gee...sorry...I'm not a millionaire and can't afford such luxuries.

I still can't believe that it can't be compiled for windows using GCC. I'm sorry, but it's just sad.

From what I understand, Mozilla can do GCC in win32.... but I think that Firebird work is not done yet. Send me your email address or other contact info and we can continue this discussion.
