I have my hands on a copy of it but for some odd reason I am not able to install it to my computer. There's got to be some sort of explanation for this mishap.

Where did you get it from?

Ok you know what just forget I ever asked. Apparently not a single person even knows about its existence.

This can be any version of firefox, even hacked. You can get alpha and beta versions from mozilla itself.
And it is 3.7 Alpha 1 which will change daily. Think for yourself.
Otherwise you have to believe what other people tell you.

you should get Firefox only from Mozilla site. if not, it will be BAD software.

Just get the .zip version from Mozilla. Unzip and use a new profile to test it out.
Here's a link to today's trunk nightly, which is 3.7a1pre http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ ... a-central/

dogy days, first of all, Firefox 3.7 alpha 1 doesn't exist. The website wrongly mentions a version branded 3.7a1pre as alpha 1. Those are builds of a development version that may eventually become 3.7.
Secondly, the website links to a (now dead) link to a tinderbox build. I am not sure, but I believe these don't work. If you download from the link given by supernova_00 it should work fine, but note it is prerelease software so may be unstable.

Note it's actually "beta alpha 1" he's asking about. But hmph, no one knows about it, I guess it's too hardcore for you guys.

Oh yea, misread. It is above my head now

Technically we do if you look in the daily Trunk threads in Firefox Builds. brothersoft.com is for some odd reason linking to a old hourly Tinderbox build as the official link which can potentially be unstable instead of a nightly from one day or the latest. The old official link does not work anymore anyways. (Before picture of avatar) (animated version)

Huh! Maybe they don't know about beta alpha builds, but us hardcore guys are waiting for the gamma build. ![]() SM, TBird & FF trunk nightlies; Win XP sp3/Vista Home basic; OOo-dev 3.2

I thought about holding out for the omega build, but I've decided to wait for the aleph-0 build instead!
