gestures, gestures, gestures!

mozgest has honestly changed the way i interact with my computer. i downloaded StrokeIt so i could keep interacting with gestures - it's been a quantum leap of sorts for me.

of course, i'm also biased because i've contributed to mozgest ;-)

Its missing from the list. Well, now I don't have to make the hard choice between optimoz and tabbrowser :)

should become part of the standard distrib and/or be skinnable...

[btw: where are there docs that describe the steps in building a xpi/addon? ]

It gives me everything I have asked previously in the features forums and posted
in bugzilla, and more. Definitely better than the standard tabs feature of Mozilla
and adds stuff like fast menu access to cookie/image/webstyle ... settings,
quick sqitch between manual/auto/no proxy, nice tooltips on tabs, nice tab context
menu, an optional google-box extension for the multizilla toolbar that automatically
lets you search in the found web page for the google search terms (much better than
the google bar extension), easy changing
of user agent and referrer settings, saving tab groups on exit to restore them
at the next startup, and more. See their web page.

I really do not understand how you could omit this extension? If possible, please add it.

From the list / Mozdev it's definitely the Mouse Gestures Plugin.

In general terms, my favorites are the Leo Sidebar (instant English-German dictionary) and the Site policies extension.

Seriously, there are many good features in many of these add-ons and there should be careful consideration fo which of them to include in Mozilla. For instance, both the tabbed browsing environment and multizilla have extremely useful features I want, but I cannot install both. The same goes for other extension where maybe I even could install them all, but then my UI would be cluttered by several new bars, and there would be a lot of duplicate buttons and ways to do the same thing.
So I would like to see a single extension which combines the configuration options of TBE and multizilla, implements timed auto relead as TBE, save/restore of tab/window configuration as Multizilla, a configurable toolbar as multizilla and preference toolbar and so on. Or better yet, include it in Mozilla.

File enhancement bugs for MultiZilla for any additions that you would like to see made.

implements timed auto relead as TBE

The newest MultiZilla pre-release features this and it will be enabled in our next release (v1.1.32).

Same here.

Especially if you consider the amazing new features that get added all the time.

The "Undo Close Tab" is awesome for instance.

It's the home button, avaliable at http://home.no.net/trihand/mozilla/home/en/

Why it's not in the trunk is anyone's guess. :-) Frankly, when I update and set up mozilla at work (I share the PCs with 9 others), the first thing anyone mentions (more often than they notice that it's a new build :-) ) is that the home button's missing. :-(

I know, it should come into the trunk when the toolbar gets customizations, but that's been taking *years* ;-).
