I liked it better when I could "disable" the extension. Now I don't even have that or the <u>C</u> option, either (and no access key for anyone who wanted it). I'd rather not have to fool with userChrome to restore the original binding.

In due time, of course.

It appears that mirror is down again. I'll have to get around to putting that info on http://cdn.mozdev.org/compact/ (which isn't wrapping properly).

Edit: Fixed that page. Started a changelog, too. Nyah. I still have to figure out how to properly link to the downloads server, though.

text mode is currently tied to Icons and Text/Icons/Text from (currently broken) Customization (sic)

relevant styles :

Code: Select all
#toolbar-menubar[mode="text"] #compact-menu > .menu-right {
  display: none;
}

#toolbar-menubar[mode="icons"] #compact-menu > .menu-text {
  display: none;
}

use "display: -moz-box !important;" or "display: block !important;" in userChrome.css until such time as I sort this out properly

it is alpha / beta software :mrgreen:

I suggested that. I take it back. I don't like that idea any more.

I intend(ed) to make it independent of it, but ...
I need to untangle my sources

and it was easier to rig it like this, while I haven't sorted it
