Lifted from Mozilla trunk, and suitably tweaked

http://downloads.mozdev.org/cdn/linkToo ... 030205.xpi

available 0000 GMT [ 1900 EST? / 1400 PST? ]

unfortunately the css uses copious '!important's, since several Px themers use !important on

.bookmark-item

and

toolbarbutton.bookmark-item,

where it may not be strictly necessary

I suppose we have to blame kerz, since he created 'Classic' from which most other browser/browser.css files are derived ...

I think it's great that you make this an extension, but I'd seriously consider removing that fish icon. That's the kind of bloat that makes me not use it.

Lol. A little too much blubber in your logo cdn? And I thought it was a shark :)

Are you saying you didn't remove the extra !importants?

I'm not sure if you're asking me, but I'll assume yes. I just checked and the Luna Themes do have quite a few !importants in that area. I didn't need to change much there so never noticed that. I'll try to fix that for the next version. I'm all for reducing bloat where I can as well.

I was referring to cdn, but heck, it applies to all y'all. There are places where !important is appropriate. Unfortunately, some themes are a bit over-liberal with them.

Could it be that this extension is incompatible with pre-feb01 builds, 'cause I ran into considerable trouble on the 29/01 build after installing.

The compact menu, which I already had, would not allow me to access anything on the menu or costumize, and clicking on my bookmarks would give me an error-msg, which I unfortunately forgot to record (sorry!).

I eventually upgraded to the 31/01 build and am waiting for some feedback regarding stability before I try this again!

a sharc is cartiligenous - no blubber

file itself is only 1168 bytes

and further to that,
that end of the link toolbar has always looked boring/empty [ delete as applicable ]

I had to use !important everywhere because

Pinball 0.6.4 / Px Classic * / etc have !important on the list-style-image style for

.bookmark-item and toolbarbutton.bookmark-item, and in other places for 'color: black;'

* this I can adjust

Unused UI isn't supposed to look fun. :)
It's supposed to look clean and professional.

OK everyone, no theming allowed, back to 'Classic' UI, boring browsers for everyone

--=-=-=--

altenatively, that space could be used for some other 'killer' feature

it is a first release after all - 30 min hacking approx.

it has its own bug already, the 'hide when not needed' / 'Show Only As Needed' option doesn't hide when no <link />s to display

Personally I like the fish cdn, it looks great on your compact menu extention. I would say put what you want on your extention after all it is yours, and 1168 bites wouldn't even harm a 386 computer. This extention looks like something useful I'll give it a try.

Hay that is cool it adds the Mozilla navigation back to Phoenix, not to many sites use it but its nice to know it is there. But I don't see how the fish is in anyway is destracting to the usability or nor does it destract from the overall theme. I just see it as putting the finishing touch on another great extention by cdn.

How do you make a web site work with built in navigation such as this?
