YAY! I went to download the latest TBE, (as i do every now and then) and found that the latest build had jumped a sub-version (from 1.5.xxxxxxxx to 1.6.xxxxxxxxx) anyway, i installed, and checked the settings, and i noticed a new section! Advanced Startup! anyway, i played around with it for a bit, added "user_pref("", 2);" to my prefs.js file again, and it works! after crashes, or closes, it restores all your tabs! (not in the origional order, but who cares!)

I may now die happy!:D

Thats great. It would be cool if would add that setting for you.

I would love to try it, and but right now my harddrive is dead and the only reason I can use my computer is this cool Linux boot-disc I have that gives me everything I need minus games. Only thing is, everytime I shutdown I lose everything cause its a RAM drive. Dont feel setting up phoenix just to lose it all!

Damn it Maxtor, send me my new drive!

Does it restore multiple windows too? That would be neat.

I haven't really felt the need for this feature as I generally haven't had crash problems with Phoenix in the 12/25 and 12/28 nightlies.

I think most of us get them at some point or another, and for better or for worst phoenix/mozilla has the unfortunate tendency to bring all the windows/tabs down when it crashes :P

Hi TychoQuad,

I haven't been able to get Phoenix/TBE to open up my last open webpages/tabs.
So when I close Phoenix and open Phoenix back up the Tabs that I last used do not open up.
The tabs that do open up are the ones in Preferences/general/use current pages.
But in TBE I have the check box selected Advanced/Tab Browsing/Advance setup/Open last visited pages instead of last visited page.
But this doesn't seem to work ???

Any ideas ???

I've noticed that Ver.1.6.2003012101 doesn't open the last opened tabs on startup for me, but I installed an older version Ver.1.6.20030108 that is linked on the author's site and it works fine. I don't know what all I'm missing by using an old version, but that feature is one of the most important ones for me, so for now I'll stick with it. I'm using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20030127 Phoenix/0.5, but I observed the same problems with previous Phoenix versions as well.
