Jens pointed out to me that there is an updated Nostalgy 0.2.20 for Thunderbird 3.0 so I've ported it to SeaMonkey 2.0. It might still work in SeaMonkey 1.1 since the backward compatibility code for Thunderbird 2.0 is still there, but I didn't test it. Install Nostalgy for Seamonkey 2.0: nostalgy-0.2.20-mod.xpi. Phil

I took another shot at it and actually got it to install with changing the max and min version numbers. Even though it installed and there are options and an entry in the Add-on Manager I don have a right-click option or can find anywhere to create shortcuts. That's about the best of my ability. I hope Philip or somebody can help get it going.

Hi Phil
Have you been able to look at the delicious extension? In SM2 I can't add any new pages(to d..us) as the account is not visible in the particular popup window. Links to the delicious site work alright. Thanks Everyone is on the way to be an expert

Sorry. It's on my TODO list. Unfortunately I am a bit swamped at the moment. Too many support questions in the support forums to follow-up on now that SeaMonkey 2.0 is out. Phil

Phil
As I said somewhere else on this site: Congratulations to your(and any others) input. SM2 is running very well, and fast on the OS X! Easy install with the import possibility. I wish I could help, though my knowledge will probably not make it. Everyone is on the way to be an expert

Philip, your mod of «dictionary switcher 0.9» not work with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20091107 SeaMonkey/2.1a1pre
It started some time ago — possible from 2.0→2.1 conversion. It stays as "disabled", and can't be enabled despite of "nightly tester tools". This is not only one: some more extensions show same behavior. Button "enable" in extension manager just does nothing. Can you look into this problem? Maybe, some kind of common recommendations can be followed?

The install.rdf needs the maxVersion bumped to 2.1a1pre or higher. Or Set extensions.checkCompatibility.2.1a to false If you are don't want to be constantly changing this set ....2.1b and ....2.1 etc to false as well. See Bug 521905 - Make extensions.checkCompatibility be per-application-version and Changing the checkCompatibility preference Phil

that option isn't in SM 2 or FF, yet! The current one is app.update.incompatible.mode and set it to zero (0)

Phil, I know you you are swamped and I hate to even ask ya but have you had a chance to look at this extension? From what I can tell there doesn't seem to be much to it size wise. Might be a quickie fix that you could knock off your list. I'd really appreciate your time. Thanks Dave

Now I did both: set <em:maxVersion>2.*</em:maxVersion> in install.rdf, and add extensions.checkCompatibility.2.1a=false. Nothing changed. Can you install "dictionary switcher" to current trunk at all?

I haven't had time to test 2.1a1pre at all sorry. Phil

I'd like to have a roboform plugin for Seamonkey 2.0. They have a version for Seamonkey 1.1.18 I was using just fine, but it doesn't install on Seamonkey 2.0. Would you be able to update the plugin for Seamonkey 2.0?

roboform: you would need to contact them and ask for an update.
