I've been approached in the past but have refused for a few reasons. One, the theme design rightfully belongs to Kevin Cunningham (aka kang) and I wouldn't feel right doing it <del>with</del> without his permission and, two, it's one heck of a lot of work, if done correctly, and I'm not up to investing that time.

However, I agree with you that kang's theme is unique and eclectic enough to weather the sea change in theme designs quite nicely, imo.

Thanks for the nice words regarding my efforts to keep the theme afloat.

It's all of us that owe you and Kevin the thanks! I've been enjoying it since its early Mozilla days, nice to see it brought over to FF/TB as well.

Which elements of Chatzilla 0.9.78.1 are being skinned by SPC. SPC 2007-07-13 on both Fx 2.0.0.6 and Tb 2.0.0.6

I see it has some motifs, but they have poor coverage of the screen area @ 1024 X 768 res. and Fx maximized on Win ME.

Theme is back and updated for Firefox 3.6.You can download it from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/76238

I know that there are bugs but this is what I can get from the 2.0 version.I want to make fans happy and I released an early beta.I don't know when I'm going to finish the theme because I want to start everything from zero. This way I can avoid bugs and unwanted errors but for now this is all I can give you.

Note:I have permission to update this theme http://forum.projectit.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=33503

Post Reviews and enjoy! ;)

Very nice, particularly for an aviation nut, I'd never seen this before, love the sidebar blue, a very cheerful theme on a clear crisp sunny morning.
Thanks. :)

Guys just want to let you know I'll continue to support the theme for Firefox 4.It won't be first on my themes list but I'll try not to delay the release.Firefox has so many new things and I have 10 themes.I'll work as fast as I can.Unfortunately I might have to start from scratch but I'll see if I can keep some code from the 3.6 version :)

Want you see Sky Pilot fly with Firefox 4?Well first I'm going to need your help.A week ago I updated my Blue Fox theme and I was going to start work on Sky pilot.Unfortunately the folks from Mozilla retained my add-on in sandbox because the minimize, full screen and close button on the right of the Firefox window are missing.See image below.

http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/4938 ... hotefg.png

Here's what I got from them.PLEASE go to this page and install Blue Fox 4 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... /versions/

Tell me if you have the same problem so that I can fix it for Sky Pilot and my other themes.I tested this on 3PCs and I don't have it.Please help.
Thanks in advance :)

New version of Sky Pilot waiting for the editors review!
Image
New version of Sky Pilot Classic is finally here! Here's what's new.

Version 7.0.08.09.11 of Sky Pilot :
*Fixed categories bug with Firefox 6 and above
*Fixed tab group bug
*Fixed close button bug with Windows 7
*Fixed tab background bug and added a lighter background
*Added background to active tab
*Fixed background bug with alert box
*Added background to active tab in add-ons manage
*Fixed small bugs with min, max, close buttons
*Added new and improved look to the Firefox tiny menu buton
*Fixed background bug in options window
*Fixed white background bug when you click on home icon with the scroll of your mouse

Hope you like the new version.I've put a lot of work in fixing these bugs, especially the tab background. Also some people where saying that the version number confuses them.
7.0 is the number of Firefox I'm using in this case Firefox 7 beta

About the numbers people are saying that I should put the month in front of the date.I don't know where you live but here in my country we write it date, month, year.I apologise if I confused someone but that's how I'm used to it.After all the theme is what matters not the version number.Don't criticize me for that. : )

Download Sky Pilot from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... /versions/ !

Remember every navigator needs a pilot!

Honestly I think date-based version schemes are always wonky no matter what order they are in.... although cascading from biggest to smallest makes the most sense: year/month/day (as in the Gecko build date). In the U.S. we put the month first which has always personally caused me a great deal of confusion as there really is no reason for it... it's just one of those things we do out of convention because we don't want to join the rest of the world with standardizations.
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.
